Turn off Norton Antivirus Firewall-

To do this:


  • First, you have to close all programs and restart the computer.
  • We have to disable the Norton Firewall Temporarily-
  • So, start your computer and try to open Norton product.
  • Go to settings and click the Firewall.

Note- Go to under detailed settings.


  • Go to the general settings tab, then next to smart Firewall, click the slide to turn it off.
  • After this, in the protection alert dialog box, from the drop-down menu, click apply and then select permanently.
  • You have to sure that the Firewall is Turned Off.
  • Now you can restart the computer.
  • Go to Norton again.
  • Try to update the latest version of your Norton antivirus.
  • Now you can turn on the Norton Firewall.
